"To receive the Early Years Award from Tribal is a fantastic achievement - we have a really ambitious programme which focuses on personalised learning and creating an environment which motivates the children and helps them to really enjoy their learning.”

Quality Mark was originally developed in 1996 in consultation with local authorities, teachers and experts to provide a framework to promote, support and celebrate the improvement of English and Maths from early years, through primary and secondary school.

Assistant Head Sumaira Nawaz, who looks after the Early Years Foundation Stage, said: “Our pupils are at the heart of everything we do at the Linden Academy.

"This award celebrates our vision which enables every child to reach their fullest potential through an all-inclusive and nurturing environment.

"A child in reception said to Tribal’s assessor ‘team work makes the dream work!’

"This is something we embed in all our staff and pupils. Well done everyone.”
