Youngsters are flying high in new careers

FIVE young people from Bedfordshire have landed dream jobs thanks to a Prince’s Trust project at Luton Airport.

The 18-25-year-olds spent four weeks doing intensive training and work placements in the airport and with its business partners.

Kieran Underwood, 20, was unemployed and jumped at the chance to take part in the Prince’s Trust ‘Get into Airports’ course.

He said: “I’ve now been offered a job at the Airport which I’m thrilled about as there is so much opportunity here it’s the first step to my new career. The course changed my life and I can’t thank the Prince’s Trust enough for helping me get this far. Without them I’d probably still be unemployed”.
