Lucky Luton lady Mary Dadari who won first prize in The Mall's Fall for Me competition

One lucky lady from Luton has been treated to a celebrity makeover after winning an autumn Fall For Me competition at The Mall.

Mary Dadari, 37, of Strathmore Avenue scooped the top prize of a personal shopping session with superstar stylist Karen Xavier, as well as two gift cards – £200 from The Mall and £50 from Blue Inc.

The University of Bedfordshire student, who’s just completed her Masters in project management, said: “I was absolutely delighted when I found out I’d won as things like that just don’t happen to me.

“I had an amazing day shopping with Karen. She helped me choose a smart outfit for my graduation – a jacket, trousers and top from H&M with shoes and accessories from Peacocks.

“I also bought a shirt for my husband from Blue Inc – and I’ve still got more vouchers to spend!”

Karen – who studied clothing management at the London School of Fashion and who’s appeared on GMTV and the BBC – said: “Nothing makes me happier than using my innate love and knowledge of styling to bring out someone’s true personality.

“I had a great time helping Mary spend her prize money. All the latest autumn/winter trends are already in the stores and there’s an amazing selection under one roof.

“As another treat, I booked Mary a make-up appointment with Bare Essentials at Debenhams and she looked beautiful”.

Mall marketing manager Lavinia Douglass said: “We’re thrilled Mary enjoyed her personal shopping trip.”
