Police hunt masked arsonists after cars set alight in Luton


Police are hunting for masked arsonists after two cars were set alight in Luton this week.

At around 10.30pm on Wednesday, December 5, two people in balaclavas approached the driveway of a house in New Bedford Road.

The occupants of the house heard a loud bang and found two of their vehicles alight.

Inspector Darren Turney said: “We are continuing to investigate the circumstances of this incident, but are treating it as deliberate at this time.

“We are keen to find out why this happened, and who is responsible so I’d urge anyone who has information to come forward.”
