Pudsey spotted at Tennyson Road Primary School!
The lucky staff and children were one of just 20 schools nationwide to win the Pudsey Schools Roadshow visit, having signed up for a free Big Spotacular fundraising kit, which encourages people to raise money via ‘spot’ themed activities.
During his visit, Pudsey entertained the children with games, quizzes and music, as well as challenging them to come up with the most imaginative ways to raise money in advance of appeal week.

Hide AdJo Quince, deputy head teacher, said “The children were incredibly excited that Pudsey came to visit Tennyson Road Primary School!
“Having the chance to meet Pudsey is a really nice way to get the children involved in raising money for the Big Spotacular, a Lloyds Bank fundraising campaign for BBC Children in Need.”
The new campaign is encouraging schools to ‘go spotty’ before appeal night on Friday, November 18, selling spotty cakes and goods and taking part in spotty themed challenges to raise money.
The BBC Children in Need Appeal charity is currently supporting 2,400 projects across the UK that are helping children facing a range of disadvantages, for example, poverty and deprivation, children who have been the victims of abuse or neglect or disabled young people.
