Two Luton schoolboys have been bailed by police and excluded from their school after a boy was stabbed in the neck with a pen earlier this week.

The incident took place at Chalk Hills Academy at around 2.50pm on Tuesday, November 13, as previously reported here.

“It will be up to the school’s governing body to decide what further action should be taken, once that investigation is concluded.

“In the meantime, we are continuing to assist the police as they look into what happened. Our academy and trust has a zero tolerance approach to violent behaviour of any kind.”

Bedfordshire Police confirmed the pair had been bailed following their arrest on Tuesday.
