Queen look-alike at Luton fundraiser
Staff at a residential property management company celebrated the Queen's birthday with a fancy dress competition.
The best dressed ‘lord’ and ‘lady’ were awarded prizes by leading royal look-alike Mary Reynolds
A FirstPort spokesman said: “We were delighted that ‘Her Majesty’ could take some time out of her busy schedule to honour us with her presence.”
The Luton office raised £300 which will be matched pound-for-pound by the company. This means a total of £600 will go to its dedicated charity partner Emmaus UK.
As the charity’s first offical corporate parner, FirstPort will provide fundraising support and opportunities to share the time and experise of its UK employees.
They will also source second-hand furniture which will be recycled, upcycled and sold on via Emmaus communties.
> The charity - a non-religious organisation celebrating its 25th anniversary this year – supports the homeless by providing accommodation and meaningful work in a community setting.
