A fitness class that feels like a night out raised over £100 for a children’s charity on Friday night.
Clubbercise is a work out that follows dance routines while raving to 90’s anthems.
Barnfield west Academy hosted the first class and all money raised went to ORA, the Olivia-Rose Alliance, helping all little fighters, in association with Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Sam Batson, the event organiser, chose the charity because it is close to his heart.
He said: “I wanted to help this charity because they are helping my friend’s little girl.
“She is one and only has half a heart, she is on the heart transplant list and spends a lot of time in the cardiac intensive care unit. We raised £120 and will continue to hold theses sessions every Friday.
“I want to thank everyone who came along, it was a huge success, Jess our new instructor was amazing, the class was buzzing and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
“We even had an entourage from Waltham Abbey with Clubbercise with Cherie, who came to support an epic night!”
