Marie said: “My friend was clearing out a house in London about 30 years ago and found the scroll, he put it away and forgot all about it. Last week he found it and we want to reunite it with the soldier’s family.
“I have been researching and found out that he had a sister called Maud Bunyan, and at the time when he died she lived at 6 St Ann’s Road, in Luton, I think the family might still live in Luton.

”During the war, when a soldier died in action, his family was given a scroll and I want to get this back to his family.
“It is framed and has a message about how they lost their lives fighting for others to have a future, and how they should not be forgotten. I think it will be something special for them, especially with this year being the centenary of the end of the First World War.”
If you can help Marie reunite the scroll with Henry’s family email [email protected].
