Six casualties in Bury Park crash last night

A major traffic collision brought Bury Park to a standstill last night.

Emergency Services were out in force after what is understood to have been a head-on collision at the roundabout at Dunstable Road and Telford Way, in Bury Park at around 10pm.

A Beds and Rescue Service spokesman said: “We were called to Dunstable Road after a collision involving one car with five passengers and a van with one driver.

“One female had to be cut from a vehicle by officers. Six casualties were taken by ambulance to Luton & Dunstable Hospital.”

Police closed Hatters Way and Dunstable Road while the incident was ongoing – bringing traffic to a standstill.
