Tasty meals on menu at soup kitchen
Minced beef hotpot and bread and butter pudding were on the menu when staff from Sainsburys in Dunstable provided meals for members of the Salvation Army soup kitchen.
Cafe manager Denise O’Reilly and Tracy Freeman (above) spent the afternoon cooking up the tasty meals.
Sainsbury’s spokeswoman Elaine Wilson said: “Many members get only one hot meal a week – something many of us take for granted – so it really makes a difference.”
