Tea rooms to close for four week facelift

PRIORY House Tea Rooms will close on Monday, July 11, for four weeks for a refurbishment.

The closure will allow the final part of the facelift to the tea rooms, temporary exhibition area and entrance hall. 

The Priory House team hope to welcome back customers from Monday, August 8.

A spokesman for the tourist centre said: “We would like to take this opportunity to thank customers for their understanding and support over the last five months. 

“We anticipate that the refurbished undercroft will reopen in early autumn 2011.”
