Seg Chris Pollard who headed the operation said: “This was a very successful series of raids at village locations in Central Bedfordshire that has provided some very important information – particularly about illegal raves.

“We will now use this very important intelligence to disrupt those people who continue to cause misery for residents by holding such events. The operation also drives home the message that drug offences will not be tolerated within our communities.”

The raids took place following intelligence about drugs gathered from the local community.

Police Officers, Special Constables and Police Community Support Officers were all involved in the raids, codenamed Operation Oronsay, which also uncovered intelligence about burglary, antisocial behaviour and illegal raves.
