Tesco team up with bikers charity to help deliver presents

Tesco teamed up with a bikers charity to deliver gifts to children and the elderly who will be spending Christmas in hospital.

Bikers from the HBB Bikers RC dressed in Christmas outfits and met at the Dunstable store to collect gifts to deliver to patients at Luton and Dunstable hospital and Stoke Mandeville hospital.

Karen Linley, area community champion, said: “We provided breakfast for all the bikers and loaded all the gifts onto their trailer that they made into a sleigh.

“We visited two other stores to collect more gifts and then went to the wards at the hospitals to deliver the presents.

“We had a fantastic response and it was lovely to see all the children waving from the window of the hospital to greet Santa!”
