Then perhaps it’s time to unleash your inner psychic.

Starting next week, Dunstable-based clairvoyant Phil Griggs will be holding Purple Moon Thursdays at The Gate (formerly the Victoria Club) to help develop your hidden powers.

The popular psychotherapist-cum-hypnotherapist said: “Discovering and developing your abilities can be an intriguing and interesting experience. It enables you to tap into the different energies around you and to open yourself up to greater spiritual awareness.”

Apparently we use only 40 percent of our conscious mind and a simple psychotherapy test can reveal the source of a person’s psychic energy.

Former submariner Phil, 47, who is an accredited psychic arts teacher and facilitator, said: “Some people develop their psychic abilities visually while others do it kinetically, through feelings.

“We help people detect their personal power sources and teach them to work with their newly discovered ability.

“Some beliefs describe the energy we tap into as the Akashic Records, the universal filing system of all knowledge, thought and events.

“Modern psychologists refer to this as the collective subconscious.” He explained: “Opening the mind to the collective subconscious may allow psychics to see past, present and future events for the person they’re reading for. The great psychologist Carl Jung described higher consciousness as ‘the reservoir of the mind.’”

The classes – Purple Moon Thursdays – will feature talks, demonstrations and workshops. Similar events held by Phil in Milton Keynes are attracting capacity crowds.

Purple Moon Thursday start at The Gate on Thursday, August 25. Entry is £5 for most events, £10 for others.
