Thomas speeds to Cadet championship

CHALTON karter Dean Thomas has been crowned the Vodafone Dmax Cadet 2010 champion, writes Mike Simmonds.

The nine-year-old, who attends Parkfields Middle School in Toddington, took first place at the five-heat championship held in Milton Keynes recently.

What made his achievement even more impressive was that the youngster, pictured above, was up against other racers as old as 12 in the cadet tournament.
