Overhead line damage causing chaos on Thameslink trains at Luton and Bedford
Commuters warned disruption will last all day
Train travellers are being warned of massive disruptions all day at Luton and Bedford.
Damage to the overhead power cables during the night closed the line between Bedford and Luton until around 6am on Thursday (February 6)
Train operator Thameslink says that two of the four lines are likely to stay shut all day.
A Thameslink spokesman said: "There will be disruption throughout the day today. During the morning peak there will be significant reductions to the service, please check the journey planners before you travel for information on your train and to find alternatives."
