Tributes left for boy killed in motorcycle crash

Tributes have poured in for a teenager who died after his motorcycle collided with a lamp post in Marsh Farm.

Police officers and paramedics attended the scene on a footpath near Denham Close, Luton, shortly after 1.40pm on Tuesday, where the boy was discovered in a critical condition.

The victim, named locally as 15-year-old Ajay Arnold, was taken to Luton and Dunstable Hospital but later died.

Flowers, balloons and messages have been left for the teen close to the scene of the collision, which is near Whitefield Primary School.

Candles which spell out the boy’s name have also been laid out.

Scores of tributes have been paid to the teen on social media.

One read: “RIP Ajay! Taken too soon 15 years of your life and now it’s gone, so sad.”

Another added: “God rest him, taken far too young.

“Thoughts with his friends and family what a way to lose your life, terrible!”
