Delays on M1 between Luton and Houghton Regis after crash and fuel spill

Motorists are being warned about delays on the M1 while barriers are repaired after a crash earlier today (Wednesday).
Two lanes on the M1 southbound are closed between junction 11A at Houghton Regis and junction 11 at Luton.
The carriageway was closed during a collision and fuel spill.
National Highways said: “There are delays in excess of 30 minutes on the approach with three miles of congestion.”
