A two-car smash is causing quues on the M1 on the Bedfordshire-Buckinghamshire border on Friday morning (June 19).

Highways England reports two lanes are blocked northbound between Junction 11A and Junction 12 after the crash at around 6.30am.

There a broken down lorry hampered attempts to clear traffic going past the scene.

The A5 is also busy as drivers attempt to dodge the tailbacks.
