Major Luton road to close overnight for more than a week

Drivers are being warned of overnight disruption as a major route in Luton is set to shut for more than seven days for steelworks.
The council will close New Hucklesby Way, between New Bedford Road and Hitchin Road, for Hatton TM to carry out the work.
The closure will be in place from August 21 to 29 and again from September 21 to 23, starting at 9pm and ending at 5am.
There will be diversions will be in place via Telford Way or Stockingstone Road.
