Three miles of congestion on M1 near Bedford after accident

All lanes are now open

UPDATE: All lanes are now OPEN on the M1 northbound J12-J13 following the accident earlier today (Wednesday).

However, there are still delays of 25 minutes and three miles of congestion

Consider alternate routes and maybe use the M40 if travelling from London to West Midlands/North West.
