Traffic chaos as roads flood

Beds Police have issued a list of affected roads and areas that should be avoided.

These are Mancroft Road, Aley Green and Chaul End Road in Caddington, Dunstable Road in Totternhoe, Sundon, Streatley, Lower Luton Road in Luton, the A5 Kensworth, B1042 in Wrestlingworth and A421 in Marston.

The Environment Agency have also issued flood warnings for The River Ouzel and Clipstone Brook in Leighton Buzzard and the River Ivel and Tributaries (namely Flit, Hit, Purwell and Hiz) which will affect Bedfordshire and North Hertfordshire.
