Broad beams were the order of the day when LAMP homeless charity CEO John Archer was presented with a brand new Vauxhall Vivaro van by Vauxhall finance director John Fulcher.

Mr Archer said: “It was a great surprise and honour to be gifted one of their new Vivaro vans for a community-based project such as LAMP.

“We care for some of the most vulnerable young people in our community and Vauxhall have a strong sense of community and the needs of local people.”
He added: “I’m really hopeful for a long and deepening co-operation between us.”

> LAMP is a Christian charity that has worked in Luton for more than 15 years supporting the vulnerable and disadvantaged – aged from 16 to 25 – who find themselves, through no fault of their own, in a homeless situation.

It aims to transform these young lives by providing a safe living environment and an individual support plan, giving step-by-step career guidance, life skills and financial management.
