VIDEO: Cycletta is back!

The fabulous female cycling challenge is coming to Woburn Abbey on May 13 2012, with a stunning 40km route.

The Herald & Post team took part in last year’s event at Whipsnade Zoo and had a fantastic time.

Our video reporter Natalee Hazelwood said: “For me Cycletta will always be a date in my diary in future. I had so much fun riding and socialising my way through the Chiltern countryside alongside other like-minded women.

“I found it has been a great way to take my cycling to the next level. 25 miles was a pretty scary prospect this time last year but now I think nothing to peddaling a similar distance and further on a weekend jaunt. Im hoping to take part again this year and am pleased to see it growing in popularity so that other women can enjoy the freedom and exploration that cycling has to offer.”

Natalee has kept up her cycling, but it’s been a while since I went out on my bike (probably since the last Cycletta in September if I’m honest), and now that all the Christmas festivities are over I’m itching to get back on my trusty two wheels.

This year, I’m determined to train harder and be in the best shape possible so I can beat my previous time.
