VIDEO: Dramatic penalty shoot out at Luton Town FC sees cash raised for charities

LUTON Town Football Club has seen many dramatic moments over the years and a charity penalty shoot out among business people had the enthusiastic business crowd hollering and cheering.

Ron Overton of the charity Reach Out Plus and David Stonier of Dunstable firm Fire Facilities Management went through six rounds of spot-kick sudden death at the Kenilworth Road ground on Thursday morning (September 20).

Reigning business penalty taking champ Sanj Chohan of TC Solutions, in Milton Keynes, was as sick as a parrot to go out in the first round of the stay-in-if-you score fun competition.

In the end Mr Overton’s accurate use of the whole of the goal, set up by Stef Muz and his team from Penalty Kings, won the day. And it was a double cause for celebration for the charity chief as his cause received nearly £200 in donations from the participants.

An equal amount of donations from attendees at the Hatters Business Breakfast Club went to Keech Hospice Care.
