THERE’S only one thing a girl can do when her four-year-old brother is diagnosed with leukaemia – start a support group.
And that’s just what seven-year-old Hannah Armstrong has done. The Putteridge Infants pupil formed Fin’s Fighters for her brave sibling Finlay.
“We called it Fin’s Fighters because his nickname is Fin and he’s a fighter,” she explained.
The 38-strong band will be taking part in their first event on Sunday (October 2), alongside their mums and dads. It’s the Bananaman Chase at Willen Lake in aid of Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.
