Video help for tax credits
PEOPLE claiming tax credits in Bedfordshire are reminded that they have just over a week left to renew their claims.
The deadline for the renewal is July 31 and anyone who needs help to get through the process can use HMRC’s interactive online videos.
The bite-sized videos take viewers through the renewal process step by step and cover all the key areas.

Hide AdDirector of Benefits and Credits Steve Lamey said: “Time is running out to renew. Claimants need to renew by July 31 or their payments will stop.”
Claimants are urged to take care when renewing tax credits as errors could mean they receive less money than they are entitled to.
They should also watch out for fake ‘phishing’ emails sent out by fraudsters in the run up to the renewal deadline.
