Nadiya Hussain, the winner of last year’s Great British Bake Off, has presented HM The Queen with her 90th birthday cake.
Nadiya, who was born and bred in Luton but moved in MK in January, had admitted she ‘couldn’t even look’ at her oven after it was confirmed she was to bake the cake for HM The Queen’s 90th birthday.
Nadiya told ITV’s Loose Women she would be doing a “very citrusy” orange drizzle cake.
And now the popular TV baker has presented her wonderful three-tiered creation in gold and purple to the monarch.
The gathered crowds broke out into a rendition of ‘Happy birthday your majesty’ while Nadiya chatted with the birthday girl.
