Violence in home linked to exclusion
CHILDREN who witness domestic violence at home are twice as likely to be excluded from school, NSPCC research shows.
The NSPCC is encouraging schools to look out for pupils experiencing domestic violence so they can help them.
In Bedfordshire, 90 children were permanently excluded from school last year and 1,320 were suspended one or more times.
