Voucher victory for pupils at presentation

Ardley Hill Lower School, Ashton Middle School and Galaxy Gymnastics Club received 8,000 vouchers between them, which had been donated by customers.

Headteachers, pupils, coaches and members of Galaxy Gymnastics Club attended the event.

Customers at Tesco receive one voucher for every £10 spent, to be given to the school or club of their choice.

Tesco also have collection boxes in stores, where customers who have no connections to a school or club can donate their vouchers.

Last year the scheme gave over £9.3 million worth of equipment to schools and clubs nationwide.
