Staff from Wilko supported Great Ormond Street Hospital by creating the charity logo out of pennies collected from shoppers in store.
The Penny Appeal started in June 2014, they have managed to collect £850 in pennies.
Great Ormond Street Hospital is the store’s chosen charity, they created the logo design in Smith’s Square on Thursday and Friday.
Lavinia Douglass, marketing manager at The Mall, said: “We are thrilled that shoppers of The Mall and Wilko have helped contribute to a fantastic cause this year.
“Teams from Wilko gave up their time to create the charity logo from their pennies, and the end result looked fantastic.
“We wish them the best of luck with their future fundraising and will continue to support them in any way we can.”
The store’s next challenge is to collect the weight of the store manager in five pence pieces,
