Woman answers charges of injuring two children in Luton by dangerous driving

A woman appeared before Luton Magistrates Court today charged with seriously injuring two little girls through dangerous driving.

Kelly Smith-Rose, 29, of Thornhill Close in Houghton Regis, entered no plea to the charges.

The prosecution allege that Miss Smith-Rose injured the girls on September 20 while driving dangerously on Kestrel Way, Luton.

The two little girls, then aged seven and eight, were airlifted to separate hospitals where they were treated for their injuries.

Miss Smith-Rose will next appear at Luton Crown Court on February 23.
