Woman arrested after two children injured in car collision in Luton

Two young girls were airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after they were involved in a collision with a car in Luton yesterday.

The incident happened at around 1pm on Kestral Way. A woman was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and has since been released on bail.

A 7-year-old girl was flown to Addenbrooke’s Hospital and remains in a critical but stable condition.

An 8-year-old girl was taken to London Whitechapel Hospital and is in a serious but stable condition.
