ATHLETICS: Magnificent seven named in Schools team

Competing in the Inter Girls event 200m, will be Tahlia Nelson of Queensbury, Dunstable, while Lealands’ Eavon Richardson takes part in the long jump.

The Senior Girls team includes Sophie Billington from Barnfield College in the 800m.

In the Inter Boys event, Icknield’s Jamal Lewis, who is also one of the team captains, runs in the 800m, with Putteridge’s Sam Bird going in the high jump and Jack Wuidart of Harlington competing in the hammer.

The Senior Boys team also includes Rhys Lewis of Luton Sixth Form in the 800m.
