ATHLETICS: Murray finishes second to Jo Pavey at Bupa 10k
Luton’s Rebecca Murray finished second to European 10,000m champion Jo Pavey at the Bupa London 10,000 on Sunday.
Pavey, 41, who was ill overnight and only decided to run after a warm-up, won in 32.56mins, with Murray just behind, clocking 33.19mins.
Meanwhile, Luton AC’s Revee Walcott-Nolan achieved a championship best performance at the recent track and field championship held in Bedford.
She won the 800m in a time of 2.11.04mins, beating the previous best of 2.15.00mins held by Claire Peet of Bedford & County AC.
