Barton duo celebrate Worthing win
Barton le Clay Bowls Club players Rhys Lee and Luke Nunn won the Bowls England Men’s National Pairs Championship at Worthing while representing Bedfordshire.
Lee, 33, and Nunn, 31, have played together for 11 years and previously reached the final of this competition eight years ago.
At Worthing, the pair beat Huntingdonshire 24-12, Hertfordshire 28-19, Cumbria 18-8, Kent 20-19, Dorset 20-9 and in a tense final, defeated beat Adrian Chipper and Chris Holliday of Wokingham.

Hide AdThe duo now go on to represent England in the British Isles Championships in Dublin next July.
To qualify for the final stages, the pair had to play seven rounds within Beds where they won their fifth County Pairs title against Nick Cornish and Duncan Shearer of Kent Athletic.
