BASKETBALL: Noel to feature in League Trophy Final
Luton-born basketball star Levi Noel is set to play his part in the British Basketball League’s Trophy Final at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow on Sunday.
Noel and his Leicester side beat London Lions at the Copperbox to complete a 171-144 victory over two legs, and book their place in the Trophy final.
He said: “Anytime you make it to a final you have to be excited. Last year we got knocked out early in the competition but this year we are heading to Glasgow and want to go all the way.
“We feel really confident about the final and I believe we are in our best form at the moment.”
Leicester Riders will play Newcastle Eagles to see who will lift this years’ BBL Trophy.
