Best-ever World Cup finish for Barton biker Wyman
Barton biker Helen Wyman recorded her best-ever World Cup finish as she came second at Plzen in the Czech Republic on a chilly, muddy course. The Kona rider was just unable to hold on to winner Katie Compton’s acceleration as she triumphed in 41.18mins.
But Wyman rode a consistent and confident race to clock 41.33mins to hold off Nikki Harris (Telenet-Fidea) who finished third 11 seconds behind.
