Blythe enjoys ghost and carp catch

WOODLANDS Lake and Barretts Mere continue to fish well with the Mere producing a 7lb koi to Reg Blythe with several ghost and common carp coming out around 4lb, while the odd golden tench is also making an appearance.

On Woodlands, carp to 5lb along with the odd tench are being caught plus roach to 10oz and bream to 3lb.

Thomas Pashley, 12, fished Beckerings Reservoir where he caught a lovely 23lb 10oz mirror.

Luton AC also fished Beckerings Reservoir where Darren Perry came out on top with 12lb 3oz of bream, skimmers and roach to tip fished double red maggot.
