BOWLS: Mayor helps light up Luton IBC’s Spoon Drive

Luton Indoor Bowls Club welcomed the Mayor of Luton, Councillor Mohammed Farooq, to their Stockingstone Road home last week.

Following the installation of the club’s new lighting, 80 members participated in a Spoon Drive and the Mayor himself took to the green for a taster sesssion. Also in attendance was Lloyd Conaway, director of Team Beds & Luton.

The club will be holding an Open Evening on Friday, September 19 starting at 7pm for anyone wanting to have a go at bowls.
