Academy night show sees just two home wins

A lean night at The Academy Luton ABC’s home boxing show at Luton Rugby Club’s Newlands Road base saw the club return just two winners last Saturday.

Coach Graham Bell said: “All boxers put in a great effort, but unfortunately as a home club we only had two wins – Steven Duffy and Frankie Storey.

“Frankie scooped the boxer of the night trophy, while Jordan Reynolds was at the show and presented the trophies.”

Raynard Ashton presented the boxer of the night trophy and the Academy’s next show is on April 26 at Luton Rugby Club, with doors opening at 6.30pm, entry is £10 and boxing starts at around 8pm.
