Reynolds and his opponent from Boarshaw BC traded blows standing toe-to-toe in the centre of the ring, with Kilgannon the aggressor in the second round.

However, that allowed Reynolds to start picking him off near the end of the round as he threw some well-timed counter punches .

The Luton teenager caught Kilgannon with a left-right combination to earn a standing eight count.

In the third and final round, Reynolds edged the exchanges to take the decision and retain his title.
