Devine suffers points defeat to Dingsdale
Luton boxer Michael Devine suffered a points defeat against an impressive Adam Dingsdale at York Hall last night.
The bout was due to be for the Southern Area lightweight title, but with Devine not quite able to make the weight, the belt wasn’t on the line.
Devine started well in the opening rounds, but it was Dingsdale who landed the cleaner blows throughout and was awarded the decision 99-94 on the judges scorecard.
