Devine victory makes it a perfect 10 for Luton boxer
Luton super featherweight Michael Devine claimed the 10th win of his professional career with a 40-35 points victory over Belfast boxer Alec Bazza at York Hall, Bethnal Green, on Saturday.
The 24-year-old Lutonian proved far too good forhis 25-year-old opponent who tasted defeat for the first time in his second pro bout.
It takes Devine’s record to 10 wins and one defeat, as trainer/promoter James Paisley said: “He won on points and boxed really well, took his time and is now becoming a seasoned pro with class.”
