Earl adds Grant to his Redemption Day bill at York Hall

Luton boxing promoter Graham Earl has signed one time English challenger Michael Grant to his House of Champions Gym in time for Saturday’s Redemption Day bill at York Hall, writes Mike Simmonds.

Grant, 28, who has a record of 12 wins, two defeats and one draw from his 15 pro bouts so far, is scheduled to fight 33-year-old Yorkshire-based Syrian Youssef Al Hamidi, who has lost 33 of his 43 fights.

Headlining the night will be Leon ‘Solid’ Williams who defends the BBBofC Southern Area Cruiserweight title against Danny Couzens, while Paul Morby takes on Daniel Cadman in a rematch for the Southern Area Super Middleweight title.

Also on the bill are Emmanuel Oshunrinde, Terry Holmes, Joe Hillerby, Craig Poxton, while making their pro debuts are Mark Ginley, Scott Whyley and Sam Standing.
