Earl announces bouts for Capital Punishment

Morby versus Cadman headlines the York Hall bill

Luton boxing promoter Graham Earl has announced a number of bouts for his Capital Punishment bill at York Hall, Bethnal Green on Saturday, January 22, writes Mike Simmonds.

With Paul Morby’s defence of his Southern Area super middleweight title against Daniel Cadman already confirmed, opponents have now been arranged for other members of Earl’s stable.

Light welterweight Terry Holmes takes on Sutton’s Danny ‘Cassius’ Connor, while Manny Oshinronde is up against Jahmaine Smyle from Leicester.

Earl’s Belfast fighter Joe Hillerby takes on Ryan Clarke and recent signing Navid Iran clashes with Alex Spitko.

Dutch fighter Mitchell Balker, 27, is up against 37-year-old Nick Okoth, while British Masters light welterweight champion Jay Morris is expected to be in action, and there are also scheduled pro debuts for Chris Agyiai and Danny Brown.
