Earl announces Renaissance night at Liquid
LUTON boxing promoter Graham Earl has announced he will hold his next event at the Liquid Nightclub on Sunday, July 31, writes Mike Simmonds.
The Renaissance Show will feature six boxers from Earl’s House of Champions Gym with the most eye-catching bout Manny Oshunrinde’s rematch with Leicester fighter Jahmaine Smyle after the pair fought out a draw at York Hall, Bethnal Green, back in January.
Oshunrinde has two defeats from his three bouts to date, while Smyle has won one and lost one since the fight. Local fighters Tom Little, Danny Mulhern and James Smith are all on the bill, as are Terry Holmes from Stevenage and Northern Ireland fighter Joe Hillerby.
Earl said: “They’re all great fighters and it’s looking to be a great night.”
