Earl expecting a top night at York Hall

Morby defends his Southern Area Super Middleweight title

FORMER WBU World Lightweight champion Graham Earl is anticipating a fantastic night of boxing when he returns to his old stomping ground, The York Hall in Bethnal Green on Saturday, January 22 for his Capital Punishment show, writes Mike Simmonds.

The 32-year-old Lutonian, pictured left, has a long history of championship glory at the famous venue, with his best moment coming when he defeated Angel Hugo Ramirez to become WBU Lightweight champion in October 2006.

Earl said: “It was my manor when I was boxing and I had some great fights there. I’m really pleased to be having my own show there as I have some great memories of the place.”
