George fight is postponed
LUTON light welterweight Bobby George’s anticipated return to the ring in Norfolk on Saturday night has been postponed.
The 29-year-old former Olympic bronze medallist will now have to wait until Saturday, September 15.
George was due to be in action alongsid Michael Walsh fighting for the vacant British Masters title, while also on the card were English champion Ryan Walsh, WBC World Junior champion George Michael Carman and Nathan Dale, all of whom are undefeated, together with tough Peterborough light heavyweight Caine Brodie, Scott Moises and Paul Davis.
